Ms Adan, the way you’ve explained subitizing and fractions highlights the importance of hands-on activities and patient guidance, helping children build confidence instead of fear.

We would like to learn from you the various words/vocabulary that could be used in classes during playtime to familiarize them with pre-maths concepts ?
Ms Adan I am not able to see any of yoour activities,we request you to post it in the appropriate manner. Please give access to view the links.Thank you.

    Dear Ms Faiza,
This is a very thoughtful and well-articulated reflection.Your explanation of perceptual and conceptual subitizing is especially strong and a great learning for all of us. I appreciate the pointers on the traits and attitude of an effective teacher.I would love to hear from you- How would subitizing make math easier and more fun for children?
No worries about the error in post ing the activities. Request you to share both the activities together and delete the thread that is irrelevant. As of now only one activity is visible. Thank you.

    Thank you Ms Muskaan,
Your submission clearly indicates your deep understanding of the subjects. Both your activities are relevant and meet the objectives.I really like how you connected subitizing and fractions to real-life classroom situations like dice games and sharing biscuits etc where learning happens informally in the students own comfortable environment.
Could you further explain the feasibility of using of a square or a rectangle model versus a cirle to familiarize the students with fractions? Thank you.
