Rupali KaushalModeratorAiman, your reflection clearly shows how much your thinking has grown. You’ve moved from seeing math as worksheets and number writing to understanding that real math learning happens through play, daily experiences, and children’s thinking. How will you explain this play-based way of learning math to parents who may still expect worksheets and written work as proof of learning?
Rupali KaushalModeratorMany congratulations 🎊 to all the teachers who have successfully submitted the tasks for Week 1.The Forum page for week 1 will be left open for the teachers to make their submissions if not done as yet.Timely submissions are crucial.

Rupali KaushalModeratorDear Ms Rakshanda,
Your reflection shows a fresh and thoughtful way of looking at math teaching. I really like how you now see learning as something children do with their hands and experiences, not just on paper. Noticing children’s mistakes as part of learning—and learning from them as a teacher—is a wonderful and caring approach.
Would you like to share with us how you would observe children while they are counting or playing, and use what you notice to help them learn better next time?
Rupali KaushalModeratorGreat going Ms Bazila.Your creative ideas have enhanced my know how too.I am sure its a great start for all your teachers to integrate subjects for overall learning.Keep it up!

Rupali KaushalModeratorWell done Ms Nazia.Experiences provided to young children must enhance all areas of development. You have good understanding of socio-emotional development which is all about how they understand themselves, manage feelings, build relationships, and learn to live with others.

Rupali KaushalModeratorWell done Bushra! I am sure your peers will gain from your creative idea of integrating Math and outdoor play. This makes learning meaningful and joyful by allowing children to explore numbers, patterns, measurement, and space through real-life movement and hands-on experiences, strengthening understanding and engagement.
Rupali KaushalModeratorDear Ms Bazila,
Thank you for such a heart warmimg introduction. You may have become a teacher by chance but have evolved into a mature and creative teacher.Kudos to you. You insight regarding the understanding the five principles of counting and common counting errors is intersesting. Glad to know that you guide your educators to accurately identify which specific skill a child is struggling with—such as stable order, cardinality, or order irrelevance—and to provide targeted remediation rather than generalized practice.Do share some activities wherein the students learn the Math concepts and also enhance their GK skills ?
Rupali KaushalModeratorDear Ms Mehnaz,
A good teacher observes students to understand how children think and learn, guiding meaningful teaching and supporting each child’s development. Great going. However my appreciation for you to submit a comprehensive report with such clarity.Glad that you have grasped the conceots well and enjoyed learning from the course material.Do think of some activities that could be conduted using the dice to enhance the students numeracy skills?
Rupali KaushalModeratorDear Ms Bushra,
Your experience and know how in the subject is commendable and am sure your team of teachers feel it too.Keep up the good work.Your approach to recognizing errors in students and then appropriately supporting them is noteworthy. We liked your idea of enhancing numeracy by providing experiential, play-based and concept-driven learning. We would love to hear from you an example of conducting a Math driven activity during outdoor paly ?
Rupali KaushalModeratorDear Ms Nazia,
Thank you for the detailed report.Your examples using dot cards, real objects, board games, and story contexts clearly demonstrate how meaningful, playful experiences can build strong number sense. The balanced way you positioned worksheets as tools and assessment rather than instruction reflects a mature approach to early mathematics teaching. We would love to learn from you the social- emotional development that develops in students during handson activity time ?-
